Planned for Q4 2026: Remitgo's reconciliation engine will ingest bank statements and partner settlement files, match each line against the internal ledger and surface only the breaks that need a human.
Pull bank statements and partner settlement files in MT940, CAMT.053, CSV or API feed, normalised into a single internal format. POST /api/v1/recon/statements returns the statement_ref a reconciliation run is started against.
Configurable rules match statement lines to ledger postings on amount, reference, date window and counterparty, clearing the bulk without manual work.
Anything that can't be matched lands in a break queue with the likely cause flagged, so analysts work only the genuine discrepancies.
Unmatched receipts post to suspense accounts and clear automatically once the matching line appears, keeping the ledger clean in the interim.
Run a daily close that confirms ledger and bank agree, then capture a reviewer sign-off as part of the control record.
Every match, break and adjustment is logged with timestamp and actor, producing a complete reconciliation evidence pack for audit.
